Tofu Cheese Steak

Tofu Steak
  • 500 gr Firm tofu
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp stock powder
  • 120 gr Oyster mushroom, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 75 gr Minced onion
  • 50 gr All-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp Butter
Saute Vegetable
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 30 gr Minced onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot (cut into matchsticks)
  • 100 gr Green beans
  • 70 ml Water
  • 1 tsp stock powder
  • ½ tsp White pepper powder
Cheese Sauce
  • 70 ml Water
  • 170 gr Prochiz Quick Melt


Tofu Steak
  • In a bowl add tofu, minced garlic, white pepper powder, stock powder, oyster mushroom, eggs, minced onion, and all-purpose flour
  • Mash the tofu, while stirring and mixed with other ingredients
  • Take a portion of the tofu steak dough then shape the dough to a steak cut
  • Heat butter in a pan, grill the tofu steak until brown and cooked
Saute Vegetable
  • Heat butter in a pan, saute minced onion and minced garlic until slightly browned and fragrant
  • Add carrots and green beans, saute for a while, then add water
  • Add stock powder and white pepper powder, and saute until vegetables are cooked
Cheese Sauce
  • In a non-stick pan, add water and grated Prochiz Quick Melt, cook until cheese is melted
  • Serve the tofu steak with sauteed vegetables and cheese sauce on the side
