1. Blueberry

Blueberry is undoubtedly the most popular topping for cheesecake. There is a reason for it. Blueberry fits perfectly with cheesecake because of its sweet and sour flavor. Cheesecake is very creamy and milky. Therefore, eating cheesecake in large amount often cause bloating. The use of blueberry as topping will balance the creamy and milky taste and prevent bloating when consuming a large amount of cheesecake. Blueberry can be served in the form of jam or fresh.

 

2. Strawberry

Other than blueberry, strawberry is the most popular topping for cheesecake. Fresh strawberry is more sour than blueberry and is has slightly stronger flavor compared to blueberry. The sourness of strawberry make it suitable to be combined with cheesecake. Strawberry clearly has the efficacy to prevent bloating. In Indonesia, it is easier to obtain strawberry then blueberry, and strawberry is relatively cheaper, too. As it is easier to obtain, no need to hesitated to garnish your cheesecake with fresh strawberry slices in addition to jam. 

 

3. Whipped Cream and Cinnamon Powder

Using whipped cream is the easiest and tastiest choice. Your cheesecake will be very creamy. If you can consume a lot, it means you are a true cheesecake lover. You can dust cinnamon powder or cocoa powder on top of whipped cream. Cinnamon powder will give a distinct, sweet spicy aroma and help prevent bloating when you consume too much cheesecake. Cocoa powder has the same functions as cinnamon powder, namely to give more aroma and balance, as cocoa powder has a bitter taste.

 

4. Matcha Powder

Matcha. Who is not familiar with this taste? It seems that this unique flavor from the Land of Sakura is used everywhere in various creations, from kue cubit, kue pukis, kue balok, to martabak.
